Undoubtedly the most unique tailgate spot in Northeast Florida, River City Railway is located in the heart of Downtown Jacksonville’s sports complex.
Made up of 25 individual railcars, the property provides an intimate and exclusive space to entertain. Each car features air conditioning, its own outdoor area, some covered, kitchen, private bathroom, and “home-like” living room for you and your guests. Outside of the cars, River City Railway features onsite parking, 4 restrooms for larger groups, a covered pavilion, and front-gated access.
No matter the event taking place in the sports complex, a 10 minute walk is the most you’ll have to travel. Whether it be TIAA Bank Field, 121 Financial Ballpark, Vystar Veterans Memorial Arena, or Daily’s Place Amphitheater, your tailgate will be in the middle of the action.
In 2005, just before Super Bowl 39 arrived in Jacksonville, Rail City Junction prepared the property and shipped 25 unique train cars to the First Coast. Since then, the gated community has added 8 new owners and hosted countless events, becoming a staple of the sports complex.
The Railway has hosted tailgates and private events each and every gameday since. Whether it be Jaguar Gamedays, the annual Florida/Georgia game, Daily’s Place concerts, or Jumbo Shrimp games, fans and tailgaters alike have flocked to the station to host and entertain their guests.
Airstream Ventures has been contracted to manage the property and all events to be held at the railyard. With a collective 40+ years of hospitality and event management experience, expect more events and better experiences at the recently rebranded Rivery City Railway.
